Welcome to Writing Prompts For Kids, a website filled with creative exercises and writing topics for kids! Our goal is to provide a fun and helpful way for you and your children or students to learn more about writing as a craft and about yourselves as writers.

All of our creative writing prompts for kids are designed to get others to think about their writing and storytelling in new, exciting ways. Some of the prompts are tried and true exercises that have been around for decades or more, and others are ones that we construct ourselves.
